How a pact works

One agreement. A minute a day. A few people in your corner.

  1. Make a pact

Name it, choose a few promises that feel doable and invite up to seven people you trust. Everyone commits to the same agreement.

  2. Check in daily

A workout, ten quiet minutes, a call home: mark what you kept in under a minute. Missed a day? Tomorrow is a fresh page.

  3. See each other live

Cards update the moment a friend checks in, so nobody keeps their promise alone.

  4. Encourage

Send a quick “Well done.” or “Keep going.”, or talk it through in your pact’s chat.

Better, in every sense.

Health is where many pacts begin. It doesn’t have to be where they end. Choose what your pact keeps together.

An agreement you write together

We, Layla, Tomás, Priya and Sarah, commit to improving our health and well-being together. We will start with achievable goals, be honest about our progress, and hold each other accountable with respect. We will encourage one another, recognize our efforts, and never allow a difficult day to become a reason to give up. Our commitment is not to perfection, but to consistency, discipline, and lasting change.

Small by design.

For the handful of people who know you best. Not an audience.

Small groups who want to become a little better together, in whatever way matters to them: moving more, sleeping well, reading, reaching out, finding a quiet moment. Friends, partners, families, colleagues. A pact holds two to eight people, so everyone matters and nobody gets lost in a crowd.

Choose anything you’d like to grow into together — movement, sleep, faith, learning, kindness, money habits, or your own. Most pacts feel right with about six; you can add more.

No, and it’s welcoming whether you have a faith or not. Spirit is one part of the gallery, alongside body, mind, connection and growth. Goals like prayer, sacred reading, giving and gathering are written for every tradition, start as private goals that only you see, and nobody has to add them.

Nothing breaks. There are no streaks to lose and no red marks. Your pact sees that you haven’t checked in yet, and tomorrow is a fresh page.

Only the members of your pact see your check-ins, shared goals, meals and messages. Personal goals stay “Only me” unless you choose to share them, and even then your pact sees only the goal and whether it’s done, never the amounts. We don’t show ads and we don’t sell your data.

Yes. Anyone in the pact can propose adding, changing or setting aside a shared commitment. It takes effect once everyone agrees, so the pact always reflects the whole group. Personal goals are yours to change whenever you like.

The iPhone and Android apps are on their way. Until then, Pact works in your phone’s browser and you can add it to your home screen. Your pact comes with you when the apps arrive.

Start your pact tonight. Begin together tomorrow.

Setting up takes two minutes. All it needs is one friend to say yes.
